Damn these link ups!  Actually I am not sure that is what this one is but I liked it anyhow!
1/30 Things: 20 Randoms about me
1.  I have two handsome wonderful boys.
2.  I date someone who is younger than me (first time and it is actually great).
3.  I use to have a slight fountain coke addiction but I have now kicked it.
4.  I work for our county government.
5.  I have an issue with owls (note the blog design).
6.  I am the 2nd of 4 children.
7.  While pregnant both times, I gained nearly 70 pounds...yikes!
8.  I use to be addicted to the gym, wish I still was.
9.  I want to write a book.  Don't know a damn thing about it though.
10.  I lost my Dad the day after my 10th birthday.
11.  My mother left us long ago.
12.  I suffer from anxiety.  Medication and all.  It is ridiculous I know!
13.  I never buy something at full price.  NEVER!
14.  I believe there is a huge difference between necessities and wants.  Believe me there are plenty of things I want but I do not need them.  Took me a long time to figure all that out.  That is the truth!
15.  When I was little I always wanted my middle name to be my first name.  I never liked Jessica....not sure why.  Alysia just seemed much prettier.
16.  I was born in Corning, New York.  Ever heard of Corning Glassware?
17.  I haven't been on a plane in years but when I was growing up I flew all the time.  Think I need a vacay?
18.  I still love my Civic a year and then some later.  I didn't know if I could handle the compact size but it has been great.  Great gas mileage.
19.  With that being said, I do get the itch often to trade it off for a small SUV of some sort.  I just keep telling myself to keep it because it will make a good first car for Dayne.
20.  I hate drive thrus, mainly at banks. I am horrible with depth perception.
Up next will be.....Describe 3 legitimate fears you have and explain how they became fears.

i felt the same way about my first and middle name. Jill just seemed so plain and boring. one syllable. when i tried to tell people my real name was "Jillian", no one believed me, so i started wishing my first name was Ellen.
I always said if I had a little girl, I would name her Alysia. That way I could say it ;)
